Content Moderation Policy
Last updated 17 May 2026
Effective date 1 January 2026
Content moderation on the Service combines automated systems with trained human reviewers and the cooperation of users. Our goal is to enforce our policies consistently, transparently, and proportionately.
1. Automated systems
Inputs and generated outputs are screened by classifiers that detect known prohibited categories — most importantly, child-safety violations and non-consensual intimate content. Detected content is blocked, removed, or escalated for human review depending on confidence and category.
2. Human review
A trained trust and safety team reviews escalations, edge cases, appeals, and reports from users. Reviewers follow internal guidelines aligned with this policy, applicable laws, and industry best practice.
3. User reports
Users can report content directly from the Service. Reports are triaged by category and severity; child-safety reports are handled with the highest priority.
4. Enforcement actions
Depending on the violation, enforcement may include warning the user, removing or restricting content, limiting features, suspending the account, or terminating the account. Repeat or serious violations result in stronger action.
5. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action against your account or content was a mistake, you can appeal by contacting [email protected]. We aim to respond within ten (10) business days. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the one who took the original action where reasonably possible.
6. Transparency
We periodically review our enforcement metrics and update our policies and systems based on what we learn. Material policy changes are communicated through the Service and reflected in updates to the relevant policy pages.
